TWO-COAT SPRAY SEAL

_

A two-coat spray seal finish involves gluing two layers of rock together with black emulsion, providing a waterproofed gravelly surface. Similar to rural bitumen roads, two-coat spray seal driveways are a step up from gravel as they are protected from washing away in heavy rain. Unlikely to pothole, regular basic maintenance (removing weeds & filling cracks) should achieve a working life up to 30 years.

ASPHALT

_

Asphalt provides a smooth finish with a low maintenance requirement across a working life of up to 40 years. Unlike a two-coat spray seal driveway, asphalt provides structural integrity in itself rather than relying on the quality of the base underneath.

CONCRETE

_
The ultimate long lasting, low maintenance driveway, concrete offers a 100+ year lifespan, is suitable for high traffic loads and can be adapted for domestic, commercial or industrial uses. Concrete offers variable strength and pricing depending on the amount and weight of traffic expected. Concrete is prone to cracking over time, however this will not affect the structural integrity of the driveway.

COLOURED CONCRETE

STENCILLED CONCRETE
& STAMPED IMPRESSIONS
_

With the same colour options as coloured concrete, stencils offer over 25 patterns that provide the appearance of pavers but with much greater strength and durability. Or for an even more realistic imitation of pavers, stamped impressions offer texture as well as pattern at a similar price. As with coloured concrete, a sealant must be applied to prevent colour fading.

EXPOSED AGGREGATE

_
Exposed aggregate offers almost limitless creative options for your home or business. Choose from the 20+ concrete colours, and add in your choice of stone or pebbles. Ask about our Driveway Masters exclusive design options.
With the 100+ year lifespan of concrete, exposed aggregates more effectively hide the inevitable cracking that can develop in concrete over time. It is also a surface well suited to steep, frost or ice prone driveways as it offers more grip.
Exposed aggregate may also be weather sealed to ensure colour retention over time.
